If this is the first time visiting…thank you for wanting to get to know me.
Born and raised in Georgia in the USA…and born again once my frontal lobe actually developed!
I attended Harrison High School and Georgia Tech for college and briefly lived in California after graduation. Despite having a degree in Industrial Engineering…I truly didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I’m very grateful for the opportunities I was given and for what I accomplished to graduate from Georgia Tech…and I was born and raised here in Georgia…but after college I packed up my car with all my clothes, camping supplies, and a bicycle…and left home! I said goodbye to my parents and headed west!
That began the process of searching for meaning and purpose in all things.
With no clear direction or purpose but to explore… I road-tripped across this beautiful country - just me and my tiny Ford Fiesta. At the time I had no idea what was in store for me…what experiences I would have or the people I would meet along the way…and lets just say the story belongs in Hollywood! My final destination after couch surfing a bit…was a small apartment in Long Beach and a job as a “Continuous Improvement Engineer”. After a year or so of working in Los Angeles…I moved back home to Georgia and attended another year at GT for Computer Science before getting into the world of Information Technology, Customer Support, and Database Management.
For a time I planned to joined the Army…but was slapped in the face with the law and experienced first hand what power really is. After that experience and many others in this turbulent period… I learned what I truly wanted to do.
To put it simply… I realized I was “wasting” my life! Or rather… I just wasn’t OPTIMIZING it!
Welcome! My name is Joseph (Joe) Peluso and I’m happy that you’re here.
After some development time…I began writing my book and began my path of improvement. It has already brought me to Colombia, New Jersey, California, Florida, and Colorado for various projects and with many in-process projects and hundreds of ideas on the back burner…I am wholeheartedly dedicating myself to improvement in all forms. To aspire to be better for myself, my wife, my soon-to-be family, and for the world.. while wholeheartedly recognizing that my faults are in part the reason for my improvement!
Without challenge there is no change.
Through community engagement in-person, various new and existing social media platforms, and the wide-reaching platform of YouTube and other video platforms…I will communicate my surrounding community and the world at large that I am here to make an impact for everyone! I’ll seek to understand every concern and I’ll strive to find a solution using community resources both new and old so we can all work together towards a better future.
Not left, not right…. neither conservative nor liberal…not a centrist, libertarian, part of the green party, or aligned with any specific political, religious, or cultural ideology. I am an American of Italian and European descent and above all else… a human being! Spiritual and connected in my own way and accepting of all positive interpretations of the world we all live on, our shared universe, and own self-determined place in it.
I’m currently pursuing a real estate license and have returned to Georgia Tech for the 3rd time to continue my 2nd undergraduate degree. I plan to combine my passion for Industrial Engineering and Computer Science into a masters degree that focuses on City Planning and Artificial Intelligence. Depending on how the next few years ago…I may even go to Georgia State for a law degree! No matter what it’s going be an exciting time between now and then. I’m currently researching a robotics related topic and learning more about mixed-use real-estate and community development.
Major update…Abby said yes!
Abby and I got married in September of 2023 and moved out OTP… yes we both miss you midtown / Atlanta! Writing as of 9.18.2024…with all of the wonders of life ahead…of children, growing older, and making this world a better place…with a sense of responsibility to leave this world better than when I came into it…I know it’ll be a busy chapter of my life the next few years!
A Life of Learning
I’m writing this at 32 years old…knowing that the impact of actions today might not be felt for 5, 10, 20, 30, or even 40 years into the future! I hope the stories I write and I adventure of a life I lead can serve as an example to others… of what you should do and what you shouldn’t do.
I choose to dedicate my life to the betterment of humanity not only for my children to grow up in a better world…but for all of the children of the world to grow up in an improved environment of abundance, freedom, and optimism for the future.
I am American and will make my community a priority and I will strive to make sure all children of the world have supportive communities just the same as I have. Essentials like access to education, healthcare, a roof to live a life and build a family in, high quality food and water to live a life well lived…these are the basics that our humanity should ensure so we can build strong generations for eons to come.
Finally…without even knowing who you are…I love you for who you are and the potential that you have.
Now…….its time to IMPROVE! How are YOU going to do it?
